Recommended Family Friendly HotelsThe following hotels are excellent places to stay with your family in Bangkok. But, with so many hotels from which to choose, it can be difficult to make decision on which one is best for you. 
The Baiyoke Sky Hotel, also called Baiyoke II, is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Bangkok. Its 88 floors tower above the buildings which surround it. It is not only Bangkok's tallest building, it also claims to be the world's tallest hotel. That fact alone is reason enough for your family to spend at least one night there. The hotel offers suites and rooms for your family. The breakfast buffet is served on the 78th floor. You can have a bird's eye view of Bangkok before you start your day. The Baiyoke Suite Hotel is the original Baiyoke and its an all suite hotel. The Baiyoke Suite is suitable for families on a lower budget. The rooms are clean, but not fancy. It has all of the normal amenities for a hotel. With 43 floors, it is taller than its surrounding buildings (except for the Baiyoke Sky, see photo). The Centre Point Petchburi is not far from the Baiyoke hotels and offers serviced apartments with everything your family will need for a relaxing stay in Bangkok. Centre Point Petchburi is directly across the road from Panthip Plaza, an IT superstore. If you want to find bargains on computer hardware and software, than Panthip is the place to go. It is within walking distance to a skytrain station, which makes it easy to get around Bangkok with your family. Centre Point has free in room internet and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a handy laundry room available. The Indra Regent is in the heart of the garment district, nearby the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. The Indra offers spacious accomodations, including family suites. The Indra shopping arcade offers local handicraft products for sale. Of course, if you cannot find what you like, then head out to the streets for a shopping extravagnaza.
