Sukhumvit Hotels & Family Accomodations

Heading east from Siam Square and then turning south-east, and eventually south, is Sukhumvit Road. This road continues for several hundred kilometres, but you only need to go a few miles to find the moderately-priced hotels which makes this a popular area for Thailand travellers to stay. With the Sukhumvit hotels patronised principally by foreign tourists, restaurants serving international food of every variety have sprung up, together with plenty of bars.

The Royal Benja Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 5 is a great choice for your family if your budget is limited. The hotel is near an expressway entrance and exit. The rooms are quite large for such a moderately priced hotel. It is conveniently located near the Nana Skytrain station.

One of our favorite places to stay in the Sukhumvit area is the Bliston Suwan Park View Hotel. It is actually more like a residence than a hotel. A five minute walk to the Chitlom Skytrain station, it is right in the middle of the main shopping district. The rooms are large and there are options for one, two and three bedroom residences. We have stayed at the Bliston several times and always enjoy the room and the convenient location.

The Centrepoint Residences provide superb accomodations at a reasonable rate. Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 is no exception. Whether your family needs just a studio apartment or you need a three bedroom apartment, the rooms are spacious and will feel like home after just one night.

The Citadines Bangkok only has studio or one bedroom apartments which will be quite adequate for smaller families. Each apartment features a chic living room and a fully-equipped kitchen, separate from the bedroom. The Citadines is within walking distance from the Asoke Skytrain station, Sukhumvit Subway station, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, shopping and entertainment complexes and even the greenery of Benjasiri Park.
