A Bangkok Zoo or Park, Fun for Your Family

Bangkok is full of attractions which are suitable for every member of your family. When our children were younger, a Bangkok zoo provided a way for us to spend the day together as a family. Of course, living in Thailand provided us with many opportunities to visit various Bangkok attractions. As a tourist or visitor in Bangkok, you will want to plan your time carefully.  If your days are filled with too many activities, your family vacation maybe too stressful.  Spending time at a Bangkok zoo or park will bring some relaxation into your busy vacation schedule.

Dusit Zoo

The Dusit Zoo is a great place for younger children, although teenagers will probably enjoy it, too.

Khao Kheow Zoo

The Khao Kheow Zoo is an open zoo. Visitors can go around on foot or drive through the zoo in a car. The zoo is actually closer to Chonburi than Bangkok.

Khao Yai National Park

Escape Bangkok and the urban sprawl for the lush surroundings of Khao Yai National Park, Thailand's oldest and most protected nature reserve. Khao Yai's 1347 square miles of protected forest, jungle and grassland is home to many animals.

Siam Park

Siam Park is an amusement park just outside Bangkok city. Your whole family will enjoy a day pass at the park. Bring your swimsuit for some water fun, too!

Dreamworld

Dreamworld is a wondeful amusement park which is mostly suited for younger children. However, parents and teenagers will find things to do as well. If you have time, spend a day at Dreamworld with your family.
