Safari World

This African animal theme park in the middle of Asia, complete with lions, zebra, giraffe, ostriches and plenty of other fun and colorful creatures from all over the world is worth a look while on your Bangkok family vacation. You won’t be disappointed with this one and it adds a nice surprise to the ordinary itinerary of beach loafing and elephant riding.

Safari World claims to be Thailand's most popular animal park.  It is actually several parks in one.  Safari World is open from 9 am to 5 pm, 365 days a year.

If you go to Safari World, plan to spend the whole day at the park.  There are many things to see and do at Safari World.

Safari World is named after its most popular attraction, the drive through safari park. The five mile cruise through the park takes about 45 minutes and provides the opportunity to see many different animals in their natural habit. You can drive your own car throughthe park or ride on one of the parks own luxury coaches.

The highlight in the safari is the tiger and lion feeding show, the only one of its kind in the world.

The Marine park has dolphin and seal shows for the whole family to enjoy. These shows run at various times throughout the day.

Egg World is one of the newest attractions at Safari World. It is located in the Marine park and shows you evrything you ever wanted to know about egg incubation. It is not only entertaining, but educational as well.

Since Safari World is located outside of Bangkok, you will definitely need to transport your family via taxi. However, I recommend you book a tour to the park, then you can enjoy a stress free day with your family. The tour will include transportation to and from your hotel, admission to both the safari and marine parks, lunch and an english speaking guide.
