Siam Ocean WorldSiam Ocean World is a journey through seven different types of sea life. It's location in the basement of the Siam Paragon shopping mall makes it an easy trip if you are already in Bangkok. Billed as the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia, Siam Ocean World has over 30,000 marine animals in its tanks. 
A trip to Siam Ocean World is much more than just a visit to an aquarium. If viewing the marine life from outside of the tank is not enough of a thrill, Planet Scuba makes it possible to dive with the sharks. Get up close and personal with sharks and other species as well. No need to worry, a certified instructor from Planet Scuba will accompany you on your dive inside the aquarium. Perhaps diving with the sharks is too intense for your family. Then board a glass bottom boat for a 25 minute tour of the aquarium from the top of the water. Boats leave every ten minutes from the loading deck. However, for safety reasons, small children ar not allowed to join in the fun on the boat ride. Siam Ocean World is open daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. As with many attractions in Thailand, admission is two-tiered. Foreignors are charged a higher price than Thai nationals. However, if you request to pay the Thai price, the Siam Ocean World staff may give you the discounted rate. Foreign Adult: 750 baht Thai Adult: 450 baht |
